Georgia Interstate I-85

Georgia Interstate I-85 is a major Interstate Highway that travels northeast–southwest in the US state of Georgia. It enters the state at the Alabama state line, near West Point, and continues to the South Carolina state line in Lavonia. Along its route, I-85 passes through several major cities including Atlanta, Macon, and LaGrange. This highway serves as a major transportation artery for both passenger and commercial vehicles in Georgia. Additionally, it provides access to many tourist attractions such as Stone Mountain Park, Six Flags Over Georgia Theme Park and Lake Lanier Islands Resort. With its convenient location and easy access from other states, I-85 is an important part of the transportation infrastructure of Georgia.
